I don't know if I'm against the rule to open this topic, but it's been a long time since you guys last posted any English stuff here. For some of you who don't like formal compositions, feel free to join here and share everything about your daily life, something a bit strange, something you can't and don't want to express in Vietnamese. I know a girl (from a class specialized in physics) who really wants to create an English club at our school (my old school :">). So let's start with sth like this and then online conferences, offline parties, blah blah blah... :10.

I really like the idea of opening a place where everyone can write in English as well as make friends with a lot of people. And then, who knows, we can create a club from such a simple thing, right?

I'm sorry to tell you that EC might not be held this year because of a number of reasons. I'm being put into a dilema. :(, I'm really sad, I really want EC to be taken place every year :((. I'm confused about what purpose I should persue and what shouldn't.I can't resist my greed ambitions. Moreover, finding sponsors as well as the jury is not an easy mission.There's many reasons, conclude one that I don't have my parents' approval to do this :(. I've been considering giving up for long, I've weighed up the pros and cons before making a decision but I still can't decide yet :dapdau::dapdau:
I'm rather insipid as I grounded out too much and put you off your stroke when u're excited. :D

I can see your point, but the thing is that if I posted this topic at "Quán nước vỉa hè" or other places like that, it couldn't last long and I could hardly control members' posts. "Quán nước vỉa hè" is more suitable for hot events, which will no longer be interesting when they lose their heat. Anyone, no matter what fields they are specialized in, can raise their voices here :x.

I'm sorry to hear about the English competition. However, I think our next generation can do better than us :x.

As for your last suggestion, I totally agree with you :x.

Anyway, I've got a lot of fun from this offline. And now I have to return the reality that I have a mountain of homework to do =)) :((

By the way, I've looked for the word "oops" in my dictionary because it is on the tip of my tonge. The meaning of it is similar to "regret", but in ur sentence, it seems to mean like "Wow!", I'm quite confused, can u explain it for me ?

Recently, I usualy watch film with English subtitles because I couldn't find out Vietnamese subtitles :(. My vocabulary is quite bad, I can understand only 60-70%. Sometime, I paused the film and look up dictioneries to understand some new woeds. That seems so stupid, but I haven't got any choice. I like humorous film, example: "The god must be crazy", "Kung fu panda", "tom& jerry", "Mr Bean"... =))

Well, I've been quite busy with the literature project these days. Oh literature, you love me so much that you don't want to go away from me, right? Never before have I ever studied a course book with so many literary works. Fortunately, my wonderful professor has decided to expand the project deadline so her students can have more time to read and analyse. The amount of homework is overloaded, let alone all the stuff I have to prepare before each class. Next week is coming, and I'm waiting for Mr Kling in microeconomics course. That also means more homework, more projects and tests are waiting for me. Try your best, brave girl!

Today was supposed to be quite fun and happy. Indeed, it was a little happy when I was given and was told st that made me smile. And it's extremely fun when 11F & 12F planed to have a picnic in the dream, planed with no project. How humorous it was !
And ... it was even more interesting when the day came to an end ! How smart I am ! Having done 3 exercises and none of which gave a correct answer.

As I'd said, I want to write some diary containing all the word that I've got to learn. But I have to face the prospect that I can't produce a coherent passage because my new words indicate different meanings about different fields.
Well, forget it, just need to write, whatever the passage will be, he he.
I've just read a passage about coral colonies, it's about 1000 words (oh my god) and it's got some words that I don't know how to creat sentences in which they are included. If anyone knows, especially humorous sentences, tell me please ! They are : anemony (cỏ chân ngỗng), alga (tảo, số nhiều : algae), polyps (sv đơn bào dạng ống - they are the individuals that cluster together to make up coralline reef structures), plankton (sv phù du), tentacle (xúc tu) ...
I also read some text about Edna Ferber. She was a popular novelist and her style is not my favorite. She wrote about women with strong characters ( female protagonists who were tenacious got married with charismatic men who lacked of that strength of character ). There was not any sensationalization in her novels and they were not interesting at all. I like the style of Conan Doyle ( I'm not quite sure about the spell of his name) in the novel named "Sherlock Home", and although it'll put me to shame, I still have to admit that I'm interested in some absurd love stories in some absurd newspapers and websites ( perhaps because I'm a mad girl :) ). Collectively, not many kinds of story could inspire me with more than little regard. But I recomend a novel named "ruoi trau" highly, it's pretty good.
I don't want to type anymore, so many many words remained have to wait :D.
