View Full Version : welcome to Friendship village!
Hi guys.
Last Sunday, I came to Friendship viallge and didn't want to come back home because the children were so poor and so kool. They really love and miss everybody that visited them. We worked together, played some games together and sang together. I didn't think that they have some problems in their mind.
When I asked a girl about her age, she answered me she is only 2 years old. Actually, I thought that she should be 20 years old. And I told her that we are the same age.
And now, I'd like to share some photos to you. They're really nice.

This is a friendly boy. He held my hand very tightly to let me know that he is always welcome me. Well...

And this is a girl who likes to photograph so much. She is voiceless. She always smiled when I asked her to take photograph.

She looked so confident.

They were happier when we played games with them

When I come back to the USA, I will miss you, too. Never forget.

But I don't want to say goodbye...
http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s317/jany_30_vn/DSC01590.jpg
No, not only you.
All of us, we don't want to say that, right?
http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s317/jany_30_vn/DSC01585.jpg
Please say" Hawaii". And we will have a nice picture together.

No no no, not "goodbye" ,only say " see you soon" to the children.
Dear ,
Actually, there are many, many poor children that are bedridden. So they couldn't go out and play games or work with us. The children in pictures are the nicest, healthiest there.
You know, Friendship village is the only place that provides care for Agent Orange victims in Vietnam.

Dear bantranlap90,
I'm just a volunteer, a member of VPV- Volunteer for Peace in Vietnam.
We have many social activities like that.
If you want to join us, first answer the following question:
1. Where are you living?
I guess you are still a pupil at high school, aren't you?
If you are living in Thanh Hoa, it's difficult to join us because we have no branch in Thanh Hoa.( Maybe, in the future...)
2.You said you couldn't write in English, right?. But you can understand my comments. So you should practise and practise to improve yourself. Because VPV is an international organization, and we use English as a second language.
We are always welcome you to join us.
Ah, don't worry. You only need to speak English basic, like me.
It's easy and you can, ok?
Thanks for your feedback. I'm so glad that you enjoyed my topic.
